GOTHIKA

Has anyone else seen the movie Gothica? I saw it a while ago and I have to say it is really weird. The most creepy part of the movie is when the doctor is driving down the road and all of a sudden the creepy ghost girl just pops up in the middle of the road, when its raining, with a bloody face and pale skin. Then the doctor gets out of the car and starts yelling at the girl saying I can help you! I can help you! Then the ghost lights herself and the doctor on fire, and then the doctor wakes up in a mental hospital being charged for the murder of her own husband. At the end of the movie you find out that the ghost in the road actually posesses her and gets her to kill her husband because he had been raping and killing teenage girls. It turns out that the ghost was one of his victims. Over all that movie was really freaky and I would like to see it again. I would give it a 4 and 1/2 out of 5 stars. It really was scary but had a pretty good storyline unlike some of the popular scary movies (such as Jason movies and Michael Meyers). Gothika also has really good special effects and is really well thought out. The ghost in the movie seems to be a bad guy the whole time but is really on her side. For example to get the doctor out of her cell the ghost beats her and it looks like an act of suicide to the police, and makes it look like the ghost is the bad guy. But my freind and I realized she is just finding a way to get the doctor out of her cell. Honestly I think anyone that likes scary movies, mysteries, or murders would love or like this movie.

Music

So this is a blog about what type of music i like. I mainly like heavy rock and some alternative rock. But alot of alternative rock is really weak. My favorite heavy rock band is Guns 'n' Roses. I love the way they do there songs. It is also a big plus that they have slash who is the most well know guitarist in the world. Alot of people remember his black top hat with long curly hair. Its really funny when you see guns 'n' roses on a screen because axel rose is so short. Another band I like is Three Days Grace. They have alot of good songs out and most of them are good. If you have a CD of them you dont like 5 songs and hate 10. You usually like most of them. My favorite song by them is Animal I have Become. I really like the music video for that song because unlike alot of music videos it actually makes sence. I also like Linkin Park because they switch around singers some of the times and most of their music is good. I like the way they combine some rap and rock. A good example of how they do that is the song "bleed it out". Most people know that song. Even if you dont recognize the name you would know what it was if you listened to it because it was a pretty big hit a while ago. Another band I like is not really hard rock and most people dont like them, but I like Green Day. Most people used to like them but hate them now. But i still love some of their songs like American Idiot, Basket Case, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, And Good Riddance ( Time Of Your Life ). Another song that I like is Wake Me Up When September Ends. It doesnt make much sence unless you know the meaning to it. They made it as a tribute to September 11th. It really does make sence when you listen to the song and keep that in mind. Alot of the music I like is on Guitar Hero 3 because they have a lot of really great songs on there. Examples are Welcome To The Jungle, my name is jonas, before i forget, story of my life, ect. Well that is alot of music I like.

Halloween

this halloween im not planning on going out it is g etting kind of old. Me and my best freind are probably going to hang out at his house and watch scary movies. I dont know what we are going to see but when Im watching the movies and trick or treaters start coming by Im planning on hiding in the bushes to scare the crap out of them... Its really annoying on halloween night when a bunch of retards keep coming to your house at like 12 am looking for more fricken candy. Especially when you have the lights out... They keep knocking and ringing the door bell. Alot of the time i feel like going out side and yelling at them. I think I might dress up and look like a yard decorationg and just scare the crap out of people just like the people that live on Doris. I always loved going to that house on Doris because they had great decerations, scare the crap out of people, and always give the king sized candybars not the little bite size candy. Well all that i can say is this halloween is going to be the best one ever! But when I scare kids coming to the house Im probably not going to scare little kids. Just the ones above the age of 8... I dont want to look like a jerk. Know whats really creepy on halloween? When people give you candy out of a wrapper. I think that is really disgusting. My Uncle through my little cousins unwrapped candy into peoples bushes that give you the nasty stuff.

Salmon Fishing

Just recently i went salmon fishing which I do once a year with my grandpa, uncle, and dad. It seems boring until you actually catch a fish then it becomes exciting because salmon is one of the best fighting fish that you can catch is Michigan. The average salmon weighs 10 pounds and usually fight really well. once in a while they have a bad fight because they are almost dead. You can catch man types of salmon. Such as coho king and shinook. Usually we stay up really late if the salmon are in the harbor heavy. This year the lastest we stayed up was 6 am. I was really tired for the next couple days but it was still fun. When we fish we either use a tightline set up or I cast lead. ( Lead is just a big weight with 2 big hooks on it) Usually when you go salmon fishing you dont catch that many fish because they dont have that many salmon that they harvest (that means they dont plant a ton of salmon eggs where we fish). Some people told us that people are planning on planting half a million fish this year but it is kind of hard to beleive if you ask me because they rarely plant salmon eggs up in Harrisville (harbor where we fish). Harrisville isnt a very big town but it is nice. There is almost no buisness up there though.... But everyone seems happy that lives there. Alot of people fish every friday for salmon in the fall and for whitefish in the winter.

Paintball

If you are wondering if paintball is fun or not I would like to inform you, ITS FUN! I played paintball a few week ends ago at Future ball. It is insanely fun. Dont worry if you are afraid of getting hit because it does not hurt that bad. I got hit by 3 at once and I was fine. One thing that you want to know is to buy paintballs with a few other people because you can get some better deals. For the first game you play you want to see how trigger happy you are so you have an idea of how mush paint that you want to buy. Also you want to play paintball on a day that its not raining because the time I went you could barely see because you face mask would fog up from the rain. If you are trigger happy you want to get some tubes to carry extra paint balls in so you dont run out on the battle feild(that is always a problem).One thing to remember when paintballing is that if someone sneaks up behind you and they tell you to surrender you probably should since they have a huge advantage and it really hurts if you get shot to close. To surrender or show that youve been his just raise your gun so the other team knows that you have been hit then peacefully walk off the battelfield. If you need to know if youve been hit just call over a reff and ask them to check you for paint. If you have been hit with a paintball but it doesnt splatter you then you are still in.Now I would like to show you some examples of the face mask you are required to wear and an example of a possible gun you could use.

My name is Carl and I am 14. I go to school every day and it drags by so slow it isnt funny. High school is so much more difficult then middle school because of all the homework I get. Last year I could study for 5 minutes and get an easy A, this year I study for an hour to get a B. Plus i never got homework last year, this year I'm loaded with homework! I consider it unfair.

Soccer

So this blog is about soccer. I play for the Livonia community soccer club U-14 A team. We are in the classic 1 division in our league. We have three wins and zero losses so far. We beat TKO three to zero with ease. Novi Jags got beaten two to zero in the pouring rain. It wasnt even a competition to beat them. Midland Fusion got destroyed four to zero. It was sad because all four goals were scored in the second half. They had no skill what so ever. Waza B team was fairly easy, we beat them 5 to 0 but the halfs were 40 minutes long for some reason. We tied carpathia kickers 1to1 because we had a really horrible game. Carpthathia was O.K. but they were not nearly as good as us.

Last weekend we had a soccer tournament up in Lansing. We did very well, we came in second place. It's amazing we made it into the finals because we had a horrible record. We had 1 win 1 tie and 1 loss. But we got in anyways because we beat another team out in goal differencial. The trophy for second place was not what you would call spectacualr. It was fairly small and this thing in the middle spins for some odd reason. We have two more games this week end and I am really hoping that we dont lose so that we can keep our undefeated record.
